| Delta Private Jets Launches New Advertising Campaign | Carrier adds flexibility, benefits to industry leading Jet Card
Cincinnati, Aug. 2 ,2011 - Delta Private Jets today announced a new advertising campaign, developed with agency Partners + Napier. The campaign includes several website and product enhancements to benefit customers.
"This campaign conveys that you can enjoy your success while staying practical about how you approach lifestyle decisions like private jet travel," said Delta Private Jets President Jim Segrave. "Delta Private Jets is unconventional in the private aviation category because we provide a more straightforward approach to our pricing and customers gain the benefits of being connected to an industry leading commercial carrier like Delta Air Lines."
Print advertising will appear in publications including the Wall Street Journal, Robb Report, Business Jet Traveler, and digital banner ads will run on websites such as CNN Money, Time.com, Travel & Leisure.com, Departures.com, etc.
Along with the new campaign, the Air Elite Card will be renamed the Delta Private Jets Card. The Card offers customers advantages such as rates locked in for up to two years, account increments of either $50,000 or $100,000, no fuel surcharges and guaranteed jet availability. Additionally, it offers cardholders valuable benefits on Delta Air Lines, including Diamond Medallion status*, Delta Sky Priority services, Delta Sky Club membership and discounts** when purchasing First class or Business Elite tickets on Delta.
The branding campaign is the latest in a series of investments and upgrades Delta Private Jets has made over the last two years. - In January 2010, Delta Private Jets doubled the size of its fleet with the acquisition of Kinston, N.C.-based Segrave Aviation, a leading jet charter and jet management company, and an innovator in online booking and flight management technology.
- In June 2010, Delta Private Jets introduced the Air Elite Card, which offers high-value customers several exclusive benefits, including the ability to book on-demand private jet service and commercial flights in a single call using a pre-paid Air Elite account.
- In September 2010, Delta announced that its wholly owned private jet subsidiary, Delta Air Elite, would begin operating under the new brand of Delta Private Jets.
- In 2011Delta Private Jets added 12 of the most popular aircraft to its fleet including the Hawker 800XP, Learjet 60, Citation X, Citation Excel, Challenger 300 and Challenger 601-3R.
