Fleet Expansion Continues at Delta AirElite

Learjet 45XR and Citation XLS Added to Charter Fleet

CINCINNATI, Dec 14, 2009 - Delta AirElite, Delta Air Lines' private jet charter and aircraft management service, announced today that the company has added another Bombardier Learjet 45XR and Cessna Citation XLS to its fleet. The 2007 model Learjet 45XR is based in Jacksonville, Fla., and the 2007 model Citation XLS is based at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

"The Bombardier Learjet 45XR is a popular aircraft and will meet a variety of travel needs for both our fleet membership and charter customers," said Curtis Kruger, chief operating officer at Delta AirElite. "This new addition enhances the travel options for our customers and continues our strategy of offering one of the most modern and diverse business jet fleets in the industry."

The Learjet 45XR offers one of the most comfortable cabins in its class, with spacious seating for up to eight passengers. With a range of 2,200 statute miles at speeds up to 534 mph, the Learjet 45XR is an ideal choice for a variety of trips.

"The stand-up cabin of the XLS offers the same height and width as can be found in a typical super-midsize aircraft," Kruger said. "The spacious cabin provides ample room for center-club seating and can accommodate up to eight passengers, making it the perfect solution for a wide variety of travel requirements.

"Delta AirElite continues to add the newest, most popular aircraft to our fleet as part of our commitment to offer customers the best possible options for their travel needs," Kruger said.

The new aircraft join the Delta AirElite fleet through an aircraft management agreement, an arrangement that has proven to be an attractive option for corporations and aircraft owners interested in lowering the cost of aircraft ownership by generating revenue and reducing expenses. They also enjoy benefits available only through Delta AirElite, which in turn is able to provide a broader range of high-quality and well-maintained jets to the company's broad base of charter and jet card clients.
