Innovation and Measured Growth Have Shaped Company's Expansion
CINCINNATI, March 4, 2004 - Delta AirElite Business Jets is celebrating its 20th year of providing business aviation services. As a leading provider of private jet travel solutions, the company continues to offer a unique blend of travel options for its customers.
Delta AirElite began operating business jets in 1984 with the acquisition of its first aircraft, a Learjet 25D. Today, the company operates a diverse fleet of Bombardier Challenger, Learjet, Gulfstream and Cessna business jets.
“In addition to our operating experience, there are many attributes that set Delta AirElite apart from other companies in this industry,” said Michael B. Green, president and chief executive officer, Delta AirElite Business Jets. “Delta AirElite is the only business jet provider owned by a major airline, the only private jet membership card provider to offer a dedicated fleet for its members and the only private jet transportation provider to offer premier benefits on Delta Air Lines, to name but a few.”
The company's innovative Fleet Membership Program offers all of the benefits of aircraft ownership, without an asset purchase, fixed costs or long-term commitment. Members purchase 25, 50 or 100 hours of “occupied time” in their choice of a light, midsize or large cabin served by Delta AirElite's fleet of dedicated jets.
For those travelers desiring to specify the type of jet they wish to fly on, Delta AirElite has partnered with Bombardier Flexjet offering access to the Flexjet fleet. This program allows members to purchase 25-hour increments of “occupied” time in their choice of Bombardier Learjet 31A, Learjet 45, Learjet 60 or Challenger 604 aircraft.
Delta AirElite also offers global charter services, which provide on-demand access to their fleet of more than 400 aircraft, and aircraft management services.
"The company has come a long way over the last 20 years," said David Siebenburgen, chairman, Delta AirElite Business Jets. "We are one of the most experienced commercial business jet transportation providers in the industry. The majority of our success is due to the unique service options we can offer our customers."
Delta AirElite Business Jets is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines
