the business jet experience.
CINCINNATI, July 5, 2005 – Delta AirElite, one of the private jet industry’s most innovative travel-solution providers, is celebrating strong business growth with a revenue guarantee program for aircraft owners who are accepted for enrollment in the company’s Aircraft Management program. Following a record year in 2004, Delta AirElite has continued to experience significant growth through June of this year. Revenue flight hours in 2004 were up 53%, compared to 2003. Revenue flight hours through June of 2005 were up 30% compared to the same period in 2004.
The company attributes the growth to several factors, including an improving economy, more companies and individuals choosing Delta AirElite charter and membership programs as their preferred means of travel, and the premier benefits enjoyed by Delta AirElite customers when traveling on Delta Air Lines. This additional demand for charter has given Delta AirElite the ability to offer the revenue guarantee program for aircraft owners accepted for program enrollment. Revenue guarantees will vary based on aircraft type, availability for charter flying and geographic base location. Delta AirElite is offering new management clients flight hour guarantees ranging from 200 to 500 hours annually for select aircraft.
“Several of our aircraft management clients generated more than $1 million dollars in charter revenue in 2004 that helped offset their aircraft ownership costs,” said Michael B. Green, president and chief executive officer of Delta AirElite. “As of June of this year, three clients have already achieved this level.”
“We have strategically increased our charter fleet over the last 12 months, and now have one of the most modern, diverse fleet of aircraft in the industry,” continued Green. “Our revenue guarantee program will enhance our ability to match charter demand with high-quality Delta AirElite aircraft.”
The launch of Fleet Membership - Delta AirElite’s Jet Card program - in February 2003 has been a significant catalyst in growing the company’s customer base and other service offerings. As members reach the end of their 25-, 50- or 100- hour memberships, renewals for additional hours have exceeded the company’s most aggressive estimates. This high renewal rate coupled with the company’s marketing initiatives has spurred growth across all Delta AirElite products.
